26 year old Gemma is Miss Great Britain for the year 2008, having been runner up in last year’s competition. Standing for the unregistered “Beauties for Britain” party.
She was born in Dundonald, County Antrim and was Miss Ulster Sun for 1999. Her brother Stephen plays as a striker for Linfield Football club.
The main themes of her campaign were:
Better pay for the armed forces.
Tax relief should be available on the cost of childcare.
The country needs a referendum on Europe.
