Is 60 years old and from Harrow. Joined the Liberal Democrats in 1994 and became a Harrow councillor in May of that year. 

Became an Independent in 1996. Contested Harrow West for the Referendum Party in 1997. Joined the Conservative party in 1998 but was not re-elected to the council. Resigned from the Conservative Party in 1999. 

Most recently he contested the Marlborough ward by-election in Harrow, as an independent.
