Andrew Ellis

Worked at Newcastle University in Traffic research before becoming a printer He and his wife Pat have two children who attend the local Snow Street school 

He has served on the Liberal Party's National Executive for three years as its Co-ordinator of Community Politics.

The main themes of his campaign were:

• The Labour Government has wrecked the economy.

• The Labour Government has failed to get Britain back to work.

• The Conservatives were no better when they were in office.
