Paul Kalinauckas

Paul Kalinauckas, 50, is Chief Executive of Community Development Finance Institution that works with communities in areas of high deprivation. Lives in Wolverhampton where he was a local councillor for Wednesfield South from 1995 until 2003, when he lost by two votes. Contested South Staffordshire in 2001.

The main themes of his campaign were:

• Oppose the planned Wolverhampton airport.

• It's time to introduce a National Identity Card scheme.

• Only Labour can beat the Tories here.
